Squash Blossom Earrings

Description

One of only five or six pairs of earrings we've created. These horsehair and sterling silver earrings are very unique. The flower bud's texture is made by wrapping one very long, continuous, round and narrow plait of horsehair around the sterling silver to form its honeycomb appearance. Unplaited horsehair then bursts from the bud with a display of natural freshwater pearls that hang from plaited horsehair stamen. Who would imagine?
