Just back from being on loan to the State
Museum of Pennsylvania.
A 10 mm natural black Tahitian pearl is framed by one continuous plait of horsehair forming an exquisite flower. The hand textured sterling stem bursts open with plaited horsehair and is studded with natural white Akoya pearls. The leaves are made of horsehair woven with argentium sterling silver thread and the roots hold three natural black Akoya pearls. A sterling silver dragonfly rests on a leaf to complete this one of a kind creation.
