Diamond's Diamond Necklace

Description

We were presented with an antique diamond ring top and
asked if we could design a necklace to honor a wonderful
horse named Diamond. It needed to be fun and wearable.
Double stranded, the horse hair is actually woven into the
under gallery of the ring top then and forms a pony tail that
holds both a spinnable station and sterling silver worry
bead and a second bead covered in a narrow plait of
Diamond's tail hair. Marcasite set sterling stations and
diamond shapes separate the necklace strands with dangling,
spinning diamond beads completing the piece. Diamonds
are indeed a girl's best friend.
